Concealed Pistol License
Skill Level: Beginners to Advanced
Prerequisites: At least 18 years of age and meets Federal requirements for background check.
Course Description: This class meets the State of Michigan requirements to apply for a Concealed Pistol License (CPL). Upon receiving your certificate of completion, students are eligible to apply for their Concealed Pistol License through the County Clerk. The 8-hour minimum safety course covers the safe use of a handgun for marksmanship, the mindset and tactics needed to carry a handgun for self-defense, the legalities in the use of force, understand the aftermath of a violent encounter, and the need for ongoing training.
Included:
- Hands on instruction with a certified USCCA & NRA instructor
- Live fire range time
- Lunch
Students need to bring:
- Hearing protection
- Eye protection
- Handgun with 50 rounds of ammunition (Rentals with ammunition available for $25)
Session Length: 8-9 hours
Cost: $125 per student
CPL classes are schedule for specific dates, but if you have a group of 5 or more or need a weekday CPL class, please contact us to book a private class. Those registering for a CPL class have the option of bringing their own gun and ammo or renting from us for an additional $25.
